Description
In Freeport, gold is gold no matter where it's minted.
This is a pack of ten of our Freeport Gold Lord coins. These coins are produced under licence from Green Ronin.
The front of the coin shows the profile of Marilise Maeorgan, the current Sea Lord of Freeport (for only the second time in Freeport's history, the reigning Sea Lord is a woman). The back of the coin shows the winged hourglass symbol of the City of Freeport.
The coin has an antique gold finish. It is 30mm diameter and 2mm thick. This coin has no visible denomination. It is designed as a set with the Silver Skull and the Copper Penny. These three coins can be used for different roleplaying games and boardgames, allowing players to change the value of the coins from game to game. They also make excellent tokens for miniatures games.
The Freeport range are designed by Australian artist Lynda Mills, based on the original art in the Pirate's Guide to Freeport from Green Ronin. The coins are designed to look as though they have been stamped out, with 3D detail etched into the coin. The coins have a large surface area, and stack perfectly flat.
