What payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal on the web store.
If you do not have PayPal, you can still use the PayPal gateway to enter your credit card details. Note, we never keep your credit card details on file (in fact, we never even see them, as they are inside PayPal).
What currency are the prices in?
All prices are in United States Dollars (USD).
Note, we are an Australian company, and your order will ship from us in Australia. It is just best for our business to set the prices in USD, as that locks our retail price to our manufacture price.
Do you charge tax?
Australian GST is already applied to the retail price. We do not charge any additional tax. Please note that you may be charged import duty to your country. Contact your local post office to learn more.
When will you ship my order?
We aim to ship all orders within 72 hours of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email telling you which day your order will be posted.
How long does Standard Air take to arrive?
Australia Post International Standard Air should arrive within 6+ working days to most countries.
This is the more expensive option, but it is faster, and offers tracking.
How long does Economy Air take to arrive?
Australia Post International Economy Air should arrive within 10+ working days to most countries according to Australia Post.
Our experience is that it seems to take 3 to 4 weeks from the day we post it.
How much does shipping cost?
On the checkout page there is a feature to Estimate Shipping.
I am overseas. What is my tracking number?
- Economy Air Mail does not offer tracking.
- Standard Air Mail has tracking. Contact us for your number.
I am in Australia. What is my tracking number?
- Australian orders under 500 grams do not have tracking if they go via letter rate.
- Australian parcels do have tracking. Contact us for your number.
Can I get cheaper postage?
We wish. We are based in Melbourne, Australia commonly referred to as “Down Under”. Our coins are real metal. Distance and weight equal cost. Note that you can also order our coins from our friends at Paizo.
Can I buy individual coins?
Our coins are in packs of 10. At this stage we do not offer single coins. However, we do sell single coins at game conventions.
Can I request alterations to the sets? (Eg. substitute 20-coins for 10-coins.)
No. All of our coin sets are assembled at the time of manufacture, and at this stage we do not have the resources to offer alterations. Please add 10-packs to your order to get the mix of coins you need.
Can I buy your coins at my friendly local game store?
We are not currently in wide distribution at retail. However, you can also order our coins direct from Paizo.com
Can I purchase gift certificates?
Yes! Fill out this form, and a gift certificate will be added as an item to your cart. You can then check out as normal.
You can enter your recipient's email address to have the gift certificate sent straight to them, or enter your own email address to print it out and give it physically.
Are there any special mail order bonus coins?
Yes! If you order over USD $40 before shipping, we will include one of our exclusive Three Dungeoneers coins in antique bronze: Hazzard, Avariss or Dhum. These are wonderful coins designed by Lynda Mills. They were originally made in limited edition copper, silver and gold for our Epic Treasure Kickstarter. Check 'em out!
What do the coins look like?
Our coins feature true 3D detail, with both raised areas as well as surface detail. They feature an antique finish which brings the detail out in sharp relief. We reckon they look awesome.
We have been making our coins since 2007. It is our goal to make our coins as authentic as possible, so that the money in your hand is exactly the same as the money in the game world.
How big are the coins?
- Our '1' coins are the size of a United States penny.
- Our '10' coins are the size of a United States nickel.
- Our '100' coins are the size of a United States quarter.
- Our '1000' coins are larger than a United States dollar.
- All of the coins are 2mm thick, in most cases thicker than a United States coin.
How heavy are the coins?
Our Gold 100 coins weigh about 5 grams each. They are slightly lighter than legal currency in the equivalent size, but they still have a satisfying heft, and give a metal clink. If we made the coins to the same weight as actual currency, shipping charges would increase.
What are the coins made of?
The coins are made from a metal alloy.
Do they contain lead?
Being a metal alloy they do contain trace elements of lead. Well within the governmental standards and no more than other household implements made from alloys.
How long do they last?
Our coins do not wear out. They can be used with any game in any edition. Our coins will benefit your gaming collection for years.
Have you thought of making [insert idea here]?
If there is a type of coin you would like to see, we would love to hear about it.
